Chinese Government Scholarships

Apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Category A) through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in the applicant's home country. The application period typically runs from November 2024 to April 2025. When filling out the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form," you must list "Tsinghua University" as your first choice in the "Preferred Institutions" section. Applicants must also meet the requirements listed under "Eligibility and Requirements" in this brochure.

Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students

Apply for the Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students directly through Tsinghua University. Applicants can apply directly in Tsinghua University’s Online Application System (Undergraduate) for International Applicants. Outstanding students can apply for scholarships for the first academic year. Students in their second, third, and fourth academic years can continue to apply for scholarships based on Tsinghua University's scholarship policies for international students and their own academic performance.
